Business leather bags
Whether for women or men, business models come equipped with a padded, often removable laptop compartment, usually an additional sleeve for a tablet or iPad, and several slip pockets for notebooks and other essentials. Standard features also include credit card slots, pen holders and a trolley strap on the back. Some leather bags for office use even include integrated RFID protection for chip cards. Vintage leather bags
One popular category of leather bags includes those in trendy vintage styles. These nostalgic models develop a unique patina over time. Changes to the surface result from environmental factors like friction from clothing, temperature shifts or exposure to sunlight and rain. Patina is a natural process and a hallmark of high-quality material. Vintage bags often come in warm cognac or camel tones, or deep shades of bordeaux—the signature worn-in effect is highly desired. Caring for leather bags
In addition to their versatility, leather bags are valued for their outstanding quality and durability. Fortunately, they require very little maintenance. Once initial signs of wear appear, simply wipe your favourite bag with a soft, damp cloth. For more serious stains, we recommend using specialist leather cleaning products. To avoid damaging the surface, test any product on an inconspicuous area first. Some types of leather require extra care—for example, suede should not be cleaned with water but instead with a gentle sanding pad or eraser. To prevent scratches and pressure marks, keep your suede bag away from rough surfaces. Light scuffs can usually be buffed out with a soft brush. Proper storage is essential for the longevity of leather bags. Ideally, keep your leather bag in a breathable cotton dust bag. For long-term storage, stuff the bag with paper to help maintain its shape.
